Reiki is the Holistic Way to Reconnect to Our Own Healing Powers.

What is Reiki?
Reiki is a technique for healing and stress reduction that has been practiced around the world for 100 years. It began in Japan with Dr. Mikao Usui who studied ancient methods of healing and codified his learnings into a system we know as Usui Reiki. His techniques were brought to the United States in 1938. Reiki means Universal Life Force Energy and practitioners of this gentle healing work channel this energy to help others reconnect to their own powers of healing.
The body is a great intelligent entity that knows how to heal itself. When it becomes blocked or traumatized, this healing ability can be shut down. Reiki jumpstarts the healing process by helping to open the energy channels in the body and restoring the proper flow of energy. Reiki can cut healing times for injuries by several weeks and enhance sports performance. For illness, Reiki can decrease stress and anxiety while accelerating healing from within.
Reiki practitioners channel energy into the body using gentle touch or no-touch clearing techniques on the head, face, ears, neck, heart, shoulders, stomach, back, legs and feet. Untold numbers of people around the world have benefitted from Reiki. Reiki energy can also be sent vibrationally over long distances.
The key benefits of Reiki are renewed vitality, quicker recovery from illness or injury, decrease in pain, fatigue and anxiety, and an overall improvement in quality of life.
I am a Reiki Master Teacher and member of the International Association of Reiki Professionals. I serve Northern New Jersey, New York City and Long Island, making house calls and providing Reiki to those with serious illnesses, injury, pain or fatigue.
